Has anyone taken an A&P1 or 2 class while in Nursing School?

I'm currently in the LPN program and i'm starting my last semester next month. I need A&P 1 and 2 and Micro still for the RN program. I was thinking of taking A&P 1 at the same time as my last semester of the LPN program and then 2 in the summer and Micro in the other summer session (there's 2 summer sessions) so that way I have all my classes done by the deadline in late August for the RN. I already know how the workload is in nursing and I've taken A&P 1 once before and had to withdraw due to other issues years ago so I know how that class is as well. otherwise I was just going to do both Anatomy 1 and 2 in the Summer sessions and Micro in the fall, but I feel like that would lessen my chances of getting in when I apply in the Summer. It's for the LPN-RN Bridge program by the way. Just need some opinions???!

It depends what the admissions requirements are. For my program, I applied with A&P 1 and 2 and didn't take Micro until the summer between my second and third nursing semesters.

If you're applying in August, what's the start date for the program?

A&P is a big workload even in a full semester. Condensing that while still having to do well is a tall order. If you have other obligations, such as a family, or heavy job demands, I might reconsider, unless you have no choice.

Start date for the RN would be Spring 2021 if I applied in August

So you can probably take A&P over the summer and then Micro in the fall before classes start.

Please don’t do it. A&P and Micro will both require a large amount of study time. LPN school already takes up a large amount of your time.
