Hello! I graduated from nursing school in Ohio on May 9 and still have not received my ATT to schedule my NCLEX in Ohio. My job has asked me if I want to apply for a temporary license but said it's up to me. I'm just wondering how much longer it will take to get my ATT; I would rather just start working after I take my NCLEX, but if it could be a month or more until I can schedule it I'm thinking I should apply for a temporary license so I can start working. But since it's $75 I don't want to apply and then shortly after receive my ATT!
Anyone who has graduated in Ohio recently, how long did it take to receive your ATT?

Hey! I graduated from a program in Ohio on April 24th and got my ATT on May 6th. If you’re registered with the OBON, you’ll automatically get the temp license once they receive your letter of completion. I also was following the Mayo Clinic forum a while back! Best of luck finding a job ??

Hey thanks for the response! So that's 12 days it took for you and today is the 12th day since I graduated, hopefully it won't be too much longer! I am registered with OBN and it says my program completion letter has not been received. So you say once that's received I'll automatically get a temp license? Will they email me or send it in the mail?
Also, I accepted a job already a few months back! It worked out for me but it was still a bummer they cancelled the Mayo Clinic residency!
Yes. I’m not sure where you saw that it’s $75 to apply for a temp license because the only fee I had to pay was my initial application fee for the OBN. Once they receive your letter, you’ll get an email with your license # saying it has been rendered “Active” due to the covid legislation that was passed. You and your employer will also be able to look your name up on the OBN and see that you’re licensed (it’s public information).

I just briefly saw that somewhere when I tried to look it up but I'm probably wrong! Thanks so much for the info!

I graduated from IL, and applying to Ohio Board as soon as I finished my program on May 7th. I didn't hear anything from the Board since then (today is June 8th). Ohio Board website is so confusing, I'm not sure when can I receive my ATT.
