I've been asked to critically review the article using a framework for the evaluation of research papers.

if anybody has read this can you tell me the good or bad points about it.

if you havent can you just tell me what you think the article is about from the title?

and does anyone know what emeritus means?

just want to say i have read the article, want to get other peoples opinions so as to be more critical and see if anyoneelse comes up with something different and because i've read it i know what the articles about just wanted someone elses opinion on the title that hasnt read it to see if it made sense to them. thanks for all your help.

PhD: Doctor of Philosophy

RN: Registered Nurse

Emeritus: One who is now retired but still holds the title of the position previous to retirement. Professor Emeritus means an officially retired professor that still is active in the organization.

I have not read the article, but I would assume it is about "what it's like to live with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease".

BC: Business Computing (I think it means that anyway. A blend of Computing Science and Business Administration)

Actually usually for an RN BS stands for "board certified" meaning they have completed a certification exam for a specialty.

Hi Shannyn, just logged on to allnurses.com for first time. I'm reviewing this article at moment. Have you got any advice for me. I personally think it doesn't really bring anything new to people with COPD. Is this what you thought?
