I was wondering if anyone has ever read or heard of the book Thinking as a Nurse by Bruce Austin Scott. If so, do you think it would be a good book for a new nursing student to read? Is it too short to be worth the money? Amazon.com "suggested" it to me and it looked really good. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on it.
I'm looking to read some non-textbook type books on nursing to "get my feet wet" while I wait to start nursing school this fall. I've already read F. Nightingale's Notes on Nursing and I'm well versed in the sciences (A&P etc.). Does anyone recommend this book or any others to get a head start for nursing school? Thanks in advance :)
