I am thinking of taking the RN program at EPCI-MCI and have heard some negative things, so I just wanted to know if anyone who went through this program had any problems getting a job? Also, do hospitals hire just based on the results of the nursing exam or based on the school you went through? Any help would be appreciated.

I went through MCI's nursing program. From personal experience, I would not try and attend if you also plan on working full-time. MCI quickly consumed what free time i had left with school 6 nights a week.
I am not working full-time, so that should help. Were you able to find a job afterwards in nursing and if so, did it matter to your employer that you came through MCI or just that you passed the nurse's exam?

LisaLyn,
The above comment is right on the money! Working, part or full is tough in this break-neck speed program. But to answer your question, I recently graduated and received a job offer two days after I walked; contingent of course on passing my boards (NCLEX) which I did. Getting a job fresh out of nursing school depends on your experience and how you interview! Good luck.
