Has anyone gone in or going in under a different specialty than what they have experience in?

Do all new grads go Med-Surg?

As a new nurse in the AF you can choose between a general/clinical nursing or OB nursing. The Med-surg or pediatrics seems to be for new nurses.

Does anyone know of anyone who went in with experience in a different specialty than the one they were labeled as?
