The school I am attending requires either ethics or comparative religions for your humanities requirement for an associates degree. I registered for an accelerated comparative religions course that starts mid June. I'm wondering if anyone has taken this course recently and can give me some feedback on it, difficulty level, interesting or not? This is a 16 wk course condensed into only 6 wks so I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew. I've been taking all accelerated courses (nutrition, english, and psych) which are 8 wks long and they are quite manageable. I'd love any input on this class! TIA!

I took a similar class a few years ago. It was very interesting and I have found it very helpful in general life and communication with people. I don't remember it being particularly difficult, it was similar to a basic psychology or sociology class in difficulty. There was a good bit of reading, all of it interesting.
Good luck :)

I took a full semester course on world religions many, many years ago and loved it. I would recommend the topic for everyone. It really helps to understand the world and other people to know a little something about their religious beliefs and history.

I took a class like that as well about a year ago and there was nothing hard about it, it was very interesting I thought and helped me to understand other religions. I think it's an excellent class for nursing majors because we deal with so many different religions, cultures, etc. I believe the broader your education the better off you are.
