Harrisburg Students in Clinicals

Hello,

I am new to this site but am so happy to have come across it. I am applying to the clinicals part of the program this spring and I am so nervous. If accepted, I will be in the full time program out of Lancaster.

I have scheduled my life around my studies for the last two years, I have a great family at home with two kids and hubby. But I'm reading some unsettling posts via various websites about the HACC program. I don't want to read too much into any of them but are hard to ignore. Does anyone know of the the number of students that start in the RN program that actually graduates/finishes the program? I will be starting, cross your fingers Jan/2012: what exactly are clinicals in the full time program? If you wouldn't mind, supplying schedules just so I know what to expect. Do you have choice of teachers? Again, this is out of Lancaster full time. We always take a week vacation with my family, is this even possible? Any or all help would be so much appreciated. I am a hard worker but I don't want a program that is going to be set up in failing me versus challenging me.

oddly, i am from the area.. but i dont go to hacc.. you will probably get more responses if you post this in the PA Nursing Programs section.

ps, good luck, i have heard that hacc is rough. i did clinicals in the same hospital as some hacc students, the uniforms are hideous! lol. then again, so are most clinical uniforms.
