Harris Health GN Internship 2nd Interview

U.S.A. Texas

Published

I have a 2nd interview with Harris Health/Ben Taub for the Cardiac Unit. They weren't able to let me know it it was a med surg cardiac or critical care cardiac unit. Does anyone know what type of questions I should expect for my second interview. The first interview had very basic questions about myself.

Will the 2nd interview have critical care/cardiac related technical nursing questions? If so, what kind of questions should I prepare for?

Or will the questions be more vague/get to know me more type of questions?

Any help or advice would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you!

How did your interview go? Did they let you know when they will be calling people back if they have been hired?

Hey! Interview went well... they called me earlier today to offer a job. What about you?

Congrats!!! Me too!!! Which unit did you get?

What were the questions like during your second interview?

They were really more about getting to know you. They really take a look into your portfolio. Give you scenarios. Tell you to give them your strengths and weaknesses. Mine was easily 30 minutes and they really wanted to know how I handled situations and if I knew to reach out for help and that I would work to make my unit stronger etc. They really wanna see that you are a good fit for their department and that they can see you working with them. Second interview was done by the specific unit's director, manager, and educator. I didn't have any clinical questions at all. Hope that helps and good luck =)

Thank you. Knowing that you had no clinical questions makes me a little less apprehensive about my second interview. I pro rail wanted to know how to prepare for this interview and what to expect.

Hello Chocolate88, I'm about to have my first interview at Harris Health. Can you please advice me on how I should prepare for the first and second interview? What type of questions they asked? I just failed an interview at a different hospital and I'm really bum/scared out that I will fail again. Thanks a bunch!
