I was wondering if anyone got accepted into the RN program with the June 1st deadline? I heard they had a meeting on the 17th to discuss potential candidates but still no word.

Hey there!!! There are several people in my summer class that applied to harper with the June deadline and they havent heard anything neither.... I dunno why its taking them so long!

Ok I guess that calls for a small sign of relief. I also applied to the LPN program and that deadline is July 1st. Talk about cutting it close!

So I received a letter stating that we are getting tested on our 21 CNA skills in August and if we dont pass we cant register for our nursing classes. I am so nervous!

Yeah I heard about that in the information meeting. I heard they will only allow you to take it once. I am kind of nervous. I hate those kind of tests where you are "on the spot".

Yeah I know... I am really nervous because I took my CNA test in November of last year and I am not working as a CNA so i havent practiced my skills at all. I worked so hard to get accepted into this program and now this....

Hey scumberledge I read on your other post that 7 people are already enrolled in the nursing classes how do you know?

Well if you go to add classes on the student portal then go to one of the nursing classes for the first semester of RN. It says that there are 7 people enrolled in the class and 73 open spots. There are 2 separate classes so you have to add them together. I would think that as soon as you get accepted you would enroll in your classes so you can pick the times.

Ok. Under NUR110 and NUR111 (both required first semester RN courses), they both say 7 actual and 73 remaining.

Hmmmm that is weird because My friend and I got accepted but we cant enroll yet because we havent even had our informational meeting yet and we have to pass this cna test which we are going to be tested in august then we can enroll. We where told that no one can enroll yet..
