3.4 isn't bad at all! Did you try doing your points on the new worksheet?
The advisors told us that 12-14 is competitive to get in. The points system has been revamped from previous years, and although you have to take the TEAS, it doesn't have a lot of weight on their decision, it's mainly your GPA and the new points system. 65% is proficient, which is mainly what they're looking for.
I think you should have a good shot!
I have 16 points, so I'm hoping for acceptance too! It's confusing with the new point system they're using this cycle, but like the advisor said, 12-14 is competitive, so hopefully we're good!
I was thinking of doing the ATB through Towson, but I have a 7 year old little girl, so I don't want to be completely overwhelmed and have no time for her. Depending on how the first semester goes, I may look into it more, or wait until I finish the RN program.
Best of luck! The wait is so stressful!
Hi! I applied for summer/fall 2017 with the summer accelerated as my first preference then fall traditional. I also have 16 points. I'm in A&P2 now my last prereq and have a 3.7 nursing GPA and an 82% TEAS test score. I'm hoping to get into one of the programs but nervous. Have y'all gotten a verification email or anything saying they received your application or anything?

Has anyone else applied to Harford's Fall 2017 Nursing program?
I recently attended their drop-in session, where we were given information on the new admission requirements, as well as a tour of the clinical labs, classrooms, etc. I was impressed!
