harcum question

Published

I am almost done my pre-reqs at Immaculata I am accepted into Brandywine school of nursing but they have lousy NCLEX rates. I am done A&P 1, Gen. Psy, Lifespan Psy., Eng. comp 1, nutrition, and taking A&P 2 and gen soc. I have a 4.0 right now. Will Harcum accept this and if so how long is there program and where do you do clinicals?

I think they will accept it. You still have to take micro. i got accepted before i did micro. There are different choices for clinicals and its first come forst serve. i sign up for DCMH beccause its close to my house and me and my husbnad or on a tight schedule. Other clinicals sites include Crozer-Chester, Riddle, Bryn Mawr, Temple i think, Jefferson, Belmont, Hahneman...all i can remember. I am going the evening program which last about 18 monts. the first semester is from May-June, classes on T/R...clinicals the last two weekends in June (7-3). After that classes are held M-5-10 and clinicals are on W/R 5-10. Tuition is about 21K and includes everything for the lenght of the program: tution, PDA, PDA software, uniforms, all textbooks, ATI books/DVD, parking permit, stethoscope, clinicals supplies, BP cuff, other accesories...all i can remember. Let me know if you need any more info.

Do you know if they have room in 2006 class? Also, is it an assoicates or certificate program? Or is it a LPN? Do they have full time? Thanks for your help

I am not sure about the 2006 program. you can call Mrs. Angela Carboni @ 610-526-6123. She is the assistant to the Dir. of Nursing. Its for a ASN. They do have day program which is about 2 years (4 semesters). They also have the STARS program which is 1 year for someone who already has a 4 yr degree.
