Harcum Evening Nursing Program 2012

Hello all I'm new to the forum but I but wanted to know if anyone is attending Harcum's evening program in May, I recently got accepted and wanted to know what to expect with classes n clinicals. Its been a long road for me so I am proud that I'm finally going to nursing school.Anyone have any info or stories to share, thank you in advance!

And I'm taking my prereqs this summer A&P 1 and 2 than Micro and Psy in the Fall.

Can u tell me what is the earliest that clinicals start for the evening program and are clinicals on evenings on weekends?

Clinicals start within the 1st wk of class. Clinicals are held during the day during the week and weekend and evening during the week.

I was thinking about applying to the evening program but me coming from jersey it will takw mw 45-50 mins to get there. So I'm thinking twice.

Is Harcum 4 days a week and clinicals on weekends?

The first semester was 2 days of class, one day lab and one day clinical for one class, Fundamentals. The second semester we had three classes( 2 days per week) and two clinicals. This past semester, we had two classes(one day) and two clinicals. Our last semester is scheduled for 3 classes, a lab and clinicals and we are supposed to be there 4 days next semester. So in other words...u will be traveling A LOT! Between classes and clinicals (depending on the site u are assigned to). Feel free to ask anything else.

Are the clinicals on weekends or in the evenings?

I also applied to LaSalle Achieve program too since I already have my BA.

i applied for the harcum evening nursing 2014, but i didn't hear from them yet

I just had my interview at Harcum today I really hope I get in. I forgot to ask when do they send out acceptance letters. My classes are over may 13th and that's when the program starts
