Im actually not from DC. My fiance is currently working in the area, so I figured I should apply if I move there. I met with some of the faculty. Everyone was very nice and helpful. All the classes are distance learning. There are some workshops we would have to come travel to DC for, but not too many. The program centers its curriculum on the students' clinical work. Since the courses are online there are plentiful discussions and papers. It seems like a great program with great faculty.
I recently applied to the ADN-MSN FNP program starting in Fall of 2012. I would love to do this program, especially since I would be able to work with a new job that I got as a Cardiac RN. It looks like they didnt get enough applicants for my program initially because they extended the deadline for a month...which hopefully bodes well for me! Do any of you know how long it took you to find out if you were accepted into the program after you had applied? Thanks for your help!!!

I just got my acceptance letter for the FNP program this Fall 2012 and was wondering if anyone will be attending this fall. I have not heard much about the program and will be visiting the school in the next week to meet with the advisor. Does anyone have any insight on the program?
