GWU ABSN Fall 2021

I was looking to see if anyone started a thread for GW's Fall ABSN program, but I didn't find one. I applied in December and I think decisions should be released soon, did anyone else apply?

I didn't get accepted ? is there any recommendation that you guys would like to give me? May I know you guys' GPA if you don't mind. GWU is first school that I applied for ABSN program. ? I will try again in the future.

Yes, my GPA is a 3.4. The best advice I can give is to focus on your personal statement it gives them a chance to see who you really are and what your personality and passion stems from

I'm sorry about that. But you still have so many options! My GPA is currently around a 3.8 I have 2 more prereqs to finish. I think you should capitalize on what's unique about you or experiences that you've had. Also choose your recommenders wisely.

Awesome congrats! I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple schools and figure out financials and such. Does anyone know of any scholarships for 2nd degrees?

I don't know of any specifically unfortunately, however, I would capitalize on GW's offerings such as Washington Squared.

Would you mind sharing if they told you why you didn’t get in? (Overall GPA etc) I applied for the Summer term, I haven’t heard back yet and I’m so nervous over potentially not being accepted for my low overall GPA even though my pre req’s are great and I tried to improve my app everywhere that I could
