I turned mine in Tuesday afternoon and she said only about 60 app so far. Only about 15-20 people were taking the Kaplan that day with me, so hopefully only a few more were turned in.

I turned my application in Tuesday as well. If there are less applicants then maybe I really do have a chance in getting in. My scores are on the lower end 3.5 gpa and 76% Kaplan however I’m praying for a miracle.

I turned mine in months ago! Lol. I have a 3.67 gpa and 86 on the Kaplan. The advisor said my application looked really good! Just checked and my last audit on degreeworks was yesterday too. I’m retaking anatomy now to bring my gpa up just in case but ?hopefully we all made it!

Are they looking just the gpa for the core classes or accumulative gpa?

I believe it is cumulative.

I think it’s cumulative too, but maybe if it comes down to similarly ranked scores, they’ll look at the science gpa to make decisions? ??‍♀️ Everyone I ever talked to in the program put an emphasis on doing well in the science pre reqs.

The cumulative of the grades on your application but I think they will look at science gpa independently if it comes down to it.

Is anyone taking any classes this semester while you wait? I’m doing ENGL 1102 and Human Growth and Development online. Also taking Chem 1151 on campus. English online is killing me. There’s a discussion board due every 3 days! Lots of reading. Any of y’all taken it online before?

I took English 1102 online and I wish I took it in person. The main issue was I didn’t know all the rules of APA format. I had taken Eng 101 over 20 years ago. I looked it up but when I made an error I didn’t know until a few assignments later because the professor was slow to grade. She also didn’t respond to emails as fast as I would have liked. I also took an 8 week class so it was very fast paced and there was an assignment due about every 2-3 days. I got a B but I feel if I did the class in person I could have gotten an A.
I took Human development online and it was another 8 week class. It was interesting, fun, and I learned a lot. It was a lot of reading but I had a great professor and I got an A.

but no I am not taking any classes this semester.

Good luck

I’m taking Human Resource management and anatomy 1 lecture again.

I took both English classes online. I think 1102 is the one I took during the summer. It did seem like there was a lot more work due more often than the other classes I took online. I got an A though. You can do it! Just work ahead if you can. That always helps me stay on track with due dates if it’s a class with assignments due often.. like maybe pick one day to work on assignments for each class, then a little study time every day for each.

That’s the only bad thing about some of the online classes. I had an instructor that I emailed a couple times about the same problem and she never answered me.

Has anyone heard anything new?
