Hello all! I am curious to see who is applying for Fall 2020 at Gwinnett Technical College. I just submitted my application and my nerves are really feeling it!

I emailed the healthteam and they told me to just keep checking the student email.

Nothing new yet. I’m also wondering what the delay could be. It would be nice to hear some good news.

Why can’t they just explain what’s taking so long? Why keep brushing people off. If they gave a specific date that they’d be answering everyone would leave them alone.

I agree. It's not like they're still deciding at this point. They have the list. Just send out the email! lol

Exactly! Like If y’all have your candidates picked out send out the emails! We’re all anxious and I’m concerned and have been checking my email all day. Hopefully we hear something this week because this wait is horrendous.

I heard from 2 different people that the results will be only send on the 14th, and they heard from advisors. Honestly I never heard really consistent information through all this application process. Some advisors say one thing , others say something completely different, so I truly don’t know anymore at this point.

So... I signed up for USPS Informed Delivery and it basically sends you an email showing you scans of all the mail that is coming to you (not the stuff inside, just the 'outside' envelope part.) Obviously, this will only let me know that GTC has sent the letters out, not if I've gotten in. However, would you happen to know if there is a difference in envelope size for the acceptance vs rejection letter? Just curious.

I didn’t think they sent out hard copy letters, just emails. I may be wrong..

I have only been told that we get emails of acceptance or rejection not hard copies as well. I may be wrong as well.

I’ve never heard of them sending out letters through the mail.
