Gwinnett Tech Comp1000 Exemption Exam

Hello All!

So I have been accepted to the ADN nursing program at Gwinnett Tech starting in August! However, they are telling me I need to take a Comp1000 Exemption Exam as the final step because I never took the course. Can anyone who has taken it tell me the format? Is it multiple choice, 50 questions, etcetc? I would feel terrible if I failed the exemption exam and my invitation was withdrawn. Thanks so much!!!

I have not taken the exemption exam but I have taken comp 1000. If you have grown up with computers/use the main Microsoft programs regularly at work etc. then you should do fine. Just brush up on things in the programs that you don't use, like excel for example. Most people aren't making spreadsheets and using the accounting functions of Excel on a regular. You can find practice sites for free on the internet.
