Has anyone investigated the LPN program at Gwinnett Tech College in Lawrenceville? Is it a good school? Any graduates out there? How well does it prepare you for an ADN program if you want to bridge? Are there area ADN schools that accept credits from Gwinnett Tech College?

I don't know anything about Gwinett Tech's LPN program but it should be easy for you to bridge into an ADN program at any school as long as it's a University of Georgia system school. For example:Georgia Perimeter College (which I don't recommend) Gordon College(which is where I'm at now), Griffin Tech. I think you have to have so many hours on the job though before you apply to a bridge program. I would search around on the internet..visit different campuses and talk with some of the students that are already there. Sorry I couldn't be of anymore help.

Hi there! Gwinnett Tech no longer offers the LPN program. They have replaced it with the ADN program. The program is a step lock program starting each year in the fall. For the classes starting 2009 and 2010, they admitted 40 students each. The program is rather competitive. The deadline for application is in January with all mandatory pre-reqs being completed prior to the application date.
Hope that helps!
