GWC Fall 2019 Pre-Nursing Students

Hi everyone!

I don't know if anyone is going to see this or even write back but I wanted to start this forum to hopefully connect with people in the same boat as me. I'm starting this August at Golden West College to do my prerequisites at a pre-nursing major then hoping to apply directly to a BSN program. Is anyone else out there starting their prereqs this August?

Ive done all my prerequisites for nursing. My tip to you is for A&P 1 and 2, as well as micro. Flash cards will your bestfriend. Im not sure how your school operates but my A&p lab had photos uploaded that I had to memorize structure and function. What I did was downloaded them all on a flashdrive and had them printed out at CVS, which is the cheapest place in fl. I wrote on the back of each pic everything I needed to know about it, and brought them everywhere and memorized them. I made straight A's doing this. Make A's in all your science classes as it will look good if you ever transfer. Good luck to you

Thanks so much! I definitely am planning on transfeering into a BSN program right after my prereqs then onto my Masters but hat's far ahead. My goal is to prepare myself as best as possible to get A's in all my prereqs!
