GTCC ADN Summer 2015

Published

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else out there is applying to GTCC for the LPN transition program in summer 2015. Also if anyone is currently in the ADN graduating class of 2015- how many seats are available? Although I hate it for the students who weren't successful in their semesters- this only opens up opportunities for the LPNs to get seats! I'm waiting til January when the college opens back up to submit my last transcript & do the point count with a counselor!

I am trying but I don't have enough points, I guess. I haven't taken psy241 and Com1.

Have you talked with Tiffany Bryant the nursing admissions counselor? I've been trying to contact her since earlier this week but haven't been able to. I wish I knew how many applicants they currently have and what the average point count is for acceptance. You should still apply!

Keep me updated I'm starting all over at GTCC this summer... My goal is to apply to the transition by next summer. All off my sciences are outdated so lucky me I will be retaking Micro, A&P I & II

I've applied and I'm not so patiently waiting for a letter...I heard that the ADN program's deadline had been extended because there wasn't enough applicants; I'm hoping that this won't affect how quickly we hear back from GTCC. I spoke with Tiffany Monday and she said that she hopes to send out the letters by next week. I have 59 total points and GTCC is my first choice. Good luck to all of you!!!

Hello,

I've applied and will also be patiently waiting for a letter (either way)! My total points were 51, I don't know if that is good enough, I was told that it was competitive by admissions but it just depends on all of the applicants! So, we will see and good luck to everyone.

I just did too, so happy!! I will be seeing you in two weeks, congratulations to you as well, classmate! ;)

I just got mine yesterday too:)! I look forward to starting school again. A little nervous as I have two kids and haven't really worked much as an LPN since we had to move overseas right after If finished school back in 2012. Anyway , I had 53 points and kept thinking I had no chance but I guess back to school it is. As I am still in the UK and in a freak out mode, I would appreciate if any of you would let me know some of the info you will receive at the orientation. My email is [email protected] and I am on FB too (Sanja Romcevic Seider). Any helpful info would be appreciated since I unfortunately can't make it there on April 6. thanks:)!

Jamiejill7, LPN, EMT-B will you be at the orientation?

Hi Sanja,

Sorry for the late reply, I've been out of town. I will be there and would be glad to forward some information to you. Have you ordered your uniforms from Castle, yet? I ordered mine last week and they said it could take up to six rather than four, so I would jump on that whenever you can. Congratulations! :)
