GSU Perimeter College LPN-RN bridge

Published

Is anyone else applying to Perimeter Colleges LPN-RN program for Summer of 2021? Or someone who applied last year and got in or didn't.  I want to know what the process looks like, what the interviews are like, how likely I am to get in based on statistics.  I was notified that I met all minimum requirements for admission, but they conduct interviews after the Sept 30th application deadline.  I know the program is super competitive and all my most recent grades are A's, 80% cumulative on TEAS, math/English 89%, science 70%, but 10 years ago before I became a LPN my grades were all over the place. Im a nervous reck. HELP!

Hey all! Do you know if they wait until February to tell us to see what our fall semester grades are? I didn’t get the “A” I expected in my lab and I’m worried that will weigh against me for the bridge program

That’s what I’m thinking but then again you have all of the Spring semester to finish prerequisites that you could pass with a low “c.” So who knows.

I keep thinking that too. However, I don’t know if others who aren’t attending perimeter have to send their grades right away at close of semester. I’m so upset. My a and p 2 lab teacher made the midterm and the final all fill in, no multiple choice at all. I did not get what I anticipated despite knowing the material.

Man that teacher is dirty!

@Lins373 If you passed with at least a C you should be fine. If you did not pass make sure to retake that class in the Spring and let them know that the course is in progress and you should be okay as long as you pass in Spring.

@Jaelanthank you! That makes me feel a lot better! My lecture I’ll have an A, but lab I have a B!

So what are everyone’s stats? These are mine.

Has anyone heard anything? Or received any positive information from Renee? I emailed her about a month ago and she still said February looked probable for decisions. However, she couldn’t tell me how many spots there were or if we’d be notified by USPS or email.

I haven't heard anything. I just sent an email. I will let you know what the response is once I receive it.
