Not sure if there's one of these started already, but it's still pretty far off, so I thought I'd make one. Have any of you guys taken the TEAS yet? If not, where are you taking it? I didn't see any dates listed for GSU.
Our stats are similar kuhelski.. My GPA: 3.77 (program) and TEAS: 83.3%.. Your TEAS is higher than mine so you have a better chance than me! :) I'm not feeling very positive right now.. are you familiar with the wait list process? at this point that's what I'm thinking it's gonna happen.. I hope I'm wrong and we get accepted!!
I think the grade is replaced for both program and instititutional gpa, but not HOPE GPA. It's called Repeat to Replace. So you are retaking the class to replace the grade. I think this is a university wide thing they just started last semester. It used to be just averaging the two grades. But now, you have up to 4 classes that you can completely replace or something.

Hey guys,
Just a quick bit of info from the nursing office...I was at the nursing office today and there was a person that walked in to decline their acceptance to GSU...so, they will still be sending out acceptance letters. I just wanted you guys to know so you don't give up. Good luck! I really hope to see everyone posting that they received their acceptance tomorrow:)
Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that I got my rejection letter today. So the letters are coming..
I'm sorry to hear that sohee... Did you apply any where else? Everything happens for a reason so I really hope you are feeling ok! I hope you get accepted at another school or reapply at GSU and get accepted there next time around! Do you mind sharing your stats? Just so those that haven't gotten letters yet (including myself) can have an idea where we stand..

I am really sorry to hear that:( ...I know what I am about to say sounds cliche, but don't give up ...this does not mean that you have to give up on your dream. Maybe it wasn't the right time...did you apply anywhere else? I know it is easier said than done; however, you can always reapply...just follow your passion no matter what! Best of luck to you...

My TEAS is 86. when you register to retake a course it will not factor into the curriculum gpa. once the class is complete, for the overall gpa they average the two grades, but for the curriculum they just take the higher grade of the two.
