i had wanted yo go to RN school and requires CNA for admission...wont take the fast track way....

my plan was foiled,,,,lol

any tips?

1. Pick a different school; or

2. Suck it up and become a CNA (I promise, it's not that bad!)

More and more schools are requiring the CNA. It's not a bad idea, honestly. Any extra practice in the health care setting is a good thing.

i think its a good idea as wel in theory....it just shows how times have changed(im old...lol) i know a lot of ladies that went into nursing that NEVER would have considered being a CNA as they thought it was beneath them. Now I dont know if they ever finished nursing school OR what kind of nurse they became...Im just sayin'

i wish a lot though they hours at my school were different because i still have to work whilst Im gettting this done and its a bit harder....
