Hello All!!,

I am creating this thread for applicants of the Grossmont College fall 2016 cohort. I just handed in my application today and was told I would not hear back until April. Feel free to share your experience, points, advice(from students accepted in previous cohort). Good Luck to us all😊

I calculated 82-87 points, but I am not sure what they actually gave me.

Congratulations on your acceptance ! Are you going to take the slot? If you do great job and I bet you are SO excited !! I am still keeping my fingers crossed!!!

I got my acceptance email on monday. I calculated myself at 74 points.

From tomorrow they should be sending out more letter cos ppl who did not take their spots will leave a vacancy

I received my invite yesterday to the program ! I wanted to let everyone know that it seems to be a rolling acceptance because they wait for letters of intent to be turned in and some are mailed and as long as they are postmarked by the last date then they are good ! It explains the delay -- good luck to everyone I am pulling for you !

I have been accepted to Grossmont, Palomar and Mira costa. I don't know which one to choose. Anyone hear anything about their programs? Which one is better?

Hi Alex, I have heard that all three of them are very good and similar. What area of town do you want to work in? That is what program I would choose !! Good luck and congratulations!

Part of town doesn't matter for me. I can move in any place. But currently I live in La Mesa, so probably Grossmont would be the best solution. I heard that GC program is very good. Don't know if it's true or not since I don't have anyone whom I know from this school.
