Grossmont College ADN program Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I just wanted to start this thread for all the people applying to Grossmont for the Spring 2019 ADN program. I am going in with 80 points and I am hoping that is enough to get in or at least become an alternate, due to the amount of people who drop out, due to certain circumstances.

Thanks s.alon. I was just trying to get as much information I could on the differences of the ADN programs in the area.

Hi everyone, I'm applying for Fall 2019 and had a question about the program. Do you guys go through ATI to do your exams for your classes? Thanks!

Hi everyone,

i am currently a grossmont student taking A&P 1 , my question to everyone is ...can you get into the nursing program with a B in A&P or has anyone got a B in A&P and been accepted into the program ? Thanks

The short answer is yes, you can get in with a B.

The long answer is: how many points you’ll have by the time you apply is what matters the most. Your past experience/degrees, military qualifications, the rest of your core and prerequisite grades, your TEAS score, cents, job experience, is all taken into consideration too. So just keep trucking. I had 91 points when I got in to Grossmont’s program but I know many people were in the low to mid 80’s. Also it depends on the point counts of those applying with you. Lots of moving parts.

Best of luck!
