Greystone was my first nursing job. One of funniest memories was of a Nigerian LPN chasing me down the hall calling me a stupid white boy. We had one admission and no discharges in 6 months and the head doc was having an affair with a patient. That was a long time ago, I'm sure it's better now, but one thing it still is, it's a State facility and the "tech" union is strong which brings with it a whole mentality that you find any where else. Pay is way below market but total compensation is probably equivalant

Has anyone worked at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital in NJ that can tell me a little about working there? How's the environment, management, any safety issues. And, of course, I must ask about the RN pay...
