Greenville Tech - Admission for Spring 2015

Hi -

I just submitted my weighted admissions form for Greenville Tech's ADN program (for Spring 2015). Is there anyone else out there that just applied as well? I am on pins and needles ..... wondering what the minimum amount of points is going to turn out to be this time.

Would love to hear from others who might also be experiencing this nail biting anxiety!

Can someone do me a huge favor and tell me the two orientation dates? I believe there is a general one and then one specific for A, B, and C? I'm at work and need to make sure I'm not working those dates.

I think the one for everyone is July 29th...that was on my first letter in the pack and then the one for my group was on its own paper. Your other will be different from mine since I'm in B :)

Tonya Kelly powers on facebook does the cpr classes we need for pretty cheap. She just graduated from tech also

And I asked the lady in the nursing building and she said it was fine to take it through her. She charges 45 and gives scholarships to those who can't afford that

Anyone else rely on financial aid!?? If so JW what you've heard or know in regards to getting it for nursing school. Are we going to be considered full time? I just don't know how the classes are set up

From what I understand for august start, you should be covered by financial aid and probably full time since the first 7 weeks you have two classes and the second I'm assuming 2 more classes. For October start, for example, I have to take an extra class for the first 7 weeks to get all my financial aid so I'm taking cpt 170 online for the first 7 weeks

I have a question for everyone accepted into the program. It's about our student health form. I made the appointment for my physical and immunizations once I got the acceptance letter, and my physician didn't have an opening until today. The program requires a two-step PPD. I had my first test today, and it will be read Monday morning, but we have to wait at least a week after the first reading to receive the second test, but the form is due by Friday, August 7th. Is anyone else having any issues with this or know if the program will accept the form without the second reading?

Maybe email tammy and ask her. I got my last reading on Thursday. I couldn't find a doctor at first that would see me until after August and then finally found one all the way in greer that saw me like a few days after acceptance letter.
