Hello all...I took my NCLEX RN yesterday and am trying to keep busy while I wait. I got 75 questions and of course Im on pins and needles waiting to see if I passed. I passed the PN NCLEX a couple of years ago and hope I have the same luck this time around.

Anyhoo....I found this great letter someone posted that explains the NCLEX in detail. It gave me a better understanding than I had before.

Just wanted to bump this because I think it is very informative and clears up a lot of misonceptions about the NCLEX.

Thank you SO SO SO MUCH for listing that link explaining the NCLEX/CAT method in detail!! I failed the NCLEX the first time I took it back in June of 2008, and then retook the exam this past August. After I returned home from my second attempt, I was crying unconsolably because I was certain I had failed due to what I perceived to be even more difficult questions than what I got on my first exam. My computer shut off at 81 questions the first time, and 75 the second time. After taking my second test, my mother suggested we look online to try to learn about the CAT method for NCLEX while waiting for results. We came upon your link, and it was like a ray of sunlight into my grief, worried heart that night! I felt so much better about all the hard questions I received the second time around from the info I obtained from the link. It link brought much needed relief to my entire family during the waiting period, and lo and behold, the next day I found out that I passed! Thanks again for helping out all the NCLEXers!!
