Aloha, just wanted to share that I had a great experience as a patient today at a same day surgery unit in Hawaii. I had to go in for a cone biop/LEEP , arrived early, the staff was excellent. Everything was explained to me, they got me warm blankets, took their time with me. Thank you to nurses.:redbeathe

I'm still awaiting the approval from state board to get my RN license back, I let it lapse 8 years ago to start a business, but I'm interested in working as a nurse again, part time, to keep up with skills.

I was so impressed with the same day surgery unit, and I questioned the nurses about their jobs, they all LOVED their jobs. I would love to ask more questions to SDS nurses, which specialty category would I post in?

I wish you a quick recovery!

I think your post in general discussion will reach to a maximum of nurses, considering that some have worked in SDS, even if they no longer do, and can probably share as much insight as the ones who currently work in such a Unit.

Your post would be more visible that way . Just an opinion, maybe other members would suggest differently.
