Great Bay Community College NLN Composite Score

As far as I know GBCC is still accepting applications until the end of February. I took the NLN in November and my composite score was 126. I'm not sure where that lands me either so I'd be interested in hearing others responses. They say that having A&P 1/2 done adds 20 points as well as your references add points as well. Have you applied anywhere else? It's all so nerve racking waiting...

They don't go by composite scores they go by what your scored in each section, you have to have at least a 50 or better above in each section. I don't remember what my composite was, it was higher than that, but I was in the 91st percentile

Hey everyone I'm new to this site and I know these posts are rather old but I'm looking for any insight into Great Bay's RN program. I took the NLN test and was told that they don't use composite scores just the scores under the column "all". I got a 90, 85, and 61 in verbal. I'm wondering what my chances of getting in are. I've also taken A&P I and II. I'd like to know what others have scored on the NLN and if they got in or atleast waitlisted! Thanks for any help:)

There is a composite score but it doesn't matter because they don't really look at it supposedly. With scores like that if you have done your anatomys there is a chance of being waitlisted. Worse case if you need to apply again They keep your higher scores so if You don't do so well the second time around d on Tue parts you did well in this time, it doesn't matter. My scores were a bit higher then yours(my math I this k was like a 79 or so, verbal was 98 and science 85) with both my a&p out of the way and.I got waitlisted (9) but got direct acceptance to Manchester. Don't put all your eggs into one basket.

Thank you! Maybe I should apply to Manchester then. I think I read on here that you could have your schedule arranged to only have to travel to Manchester 3 days a week. It looks like they have an early admission due by Dec 1st but they still accept apps until Feb. 1? Sounds like my chances there might be slim too if that's the case.

Hey im a current Manchester student, I say apply to us also. Great Bay seems to be very very competitive. There are a few people who got turned down from great bay and got into manchester but seem to be doing ok with the travel. Most of us come to school 4 days a week. However the school is good at taking into consideration where your coming from and will avoid sending you very far for clinical. Im not 100% sure why they said they offer early acceptance...they wont review the apps till the deadline. If you hussle you can get your things in by the 1st no problem! I have a friend applying with very simular NLN grades. Good Luck!
