RN, so waiting not so patiently I guess?

I applied for the transition program and the RN program. I was in their LVN program and I LOVED it! At this point, I’m literally stressing LOL

If I remember correctly, we started school in august and started clinicals in October/November.
the best tips that I could offer is: make friends- y’all are all there with the same end goal. It’s not a competition! Make study groups to help with the material.
2) don’t stress yourself too much. It’s not easy, but you can get through it. My last semester was when covid first started.

I had to learn how to be a nurse VIA zoom. You don’t learn how to be a nurse through the program. they teach you what you need to know to become a competent nurse/how to pass the NCLEX, but not how to be an actual working nurse. That will come with experience, I promise!!
3) the instructors are going to be your biggest supporters. Go to them if you need help! Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Thank you for all this information. I’m very excited! Did you hear anything yet about your application? I’m hoping you get a spot!

Oh no! I read some of the other forums and I heard you still go to the orientation in July and at that time some you get notified if you’re accepted since by that time they have more spots due to the students who got accepted to the program and declined the offer. Hopefully you still have a chance!

Do you know when the orientation is?
