You do know that you're going to need a year or two (AT LEAST) of experience in whatever specialty you want to do travel nursing in, right? My apologies if you know that, I just couldn't tell from your post. :) Congratulations on finishing nursing school. No small achievement, that.
Ok, sorry! I just couldn't tell from your post whether you knew or not. I don't know about other areas, but there are always openings for ICU/CCU travelers in my state (NC),

I am getting ready to start my preceptor in January. Man nursing school has went by fast
I want to become a travel nurse but I am wanting to find out which areas of the industry have the most need for travel nurses.
So far I have liked ICU, ER and Ortho but I am not sure if those are areas that are in demand
Also if anyone has any advice on choosing agencies I would greatly appreciate it.
