I think it might offer more financial aid options, but if you are already maximizing your class load, taking honors might be too much. Only you can know what is right and what you can handle. If taking Honors classes is going to kill your GPA, don't do it. If you can ACE your Honors classes then take them. For most programs your GPA counts for more than if you took honors classes. Don't over due it.

Hi guys. I am currently a senior in high school, and enrolled in college for this fall. I hope to graduate with a BSN in 3 years (yes, I have a plan for that, and yes, it is feasible) and then continue my education to become a CRNA. Because of my achievements in high school, I have the opportunity to go through an advanced track in college and earn an Honors Diploma. I would rather not do this because I will already be working on overdrive to graduate in 3 years, and I know I will have to keep my GPA up to be competitive to further my education. My questions are: how much of edge would an Honors Diploma give me when applying to CRNA school? And, will the fact that I received a 4 year degree in 3 years be looked at as a positive, negative, or neutral thing? Thank you for your time!
