Specializes in Urgent Care NP, Emergency Nursing, Camp Nursing.
Because my school's schedule is kinda wonky (yay quarters!) I get to walk across the stage tomorrow and get hooded, then sit anxiously as I wait for the state board's contractor to spit out my Authorization To Test. Assloads of debt later, I'm graduating with roughly the same amount of sanity that I entered nursing school with.
Since my state doesn't allow GNs to work as nurses until they pass the NCLEX, my current plan is to get a job using my until-now underutilized EMT-B license until I pass the boards and get hired as an RN, hopefully in the ED.
So, my fellow fall grads, what are your plans? (Know anyone who's hiring?)
