iv heard many people say grade c nurse etc what does this mean and how does grading work? i am applying to train as a nurse at the moment and would like to know also what does LPN BSN and other shorthand terms mean

Grading is at the moment being phased out but grading was a way of deciding at what level to pay. Grade c was usually a Enrolled nurse (LPN) more experienced enrolled nurses did get grade D. Newly qualified RN would start at grade D and work their way up with promotion.. Enrolled nurses (LPN) are no longer trained in the UK
