Hi everyone! This is my very first post on allnurses although I have been an observer for a few years lol. I love how I can find the answer to most of my questions on here. I graduated in Dec with my ADN (RN) and I am prepping now with Kaplan(finishing up) as well as the Lacharity PDA book for my NCLEX. I am waiting on my ATT, and should be recieving that in a few weeks. My question is for all of my nurses, or grad nurses in the Jax, fl area what are the best places to apply for grad nursing positions once I recieve my ATT? Or should I not waste my time, and just wait until I pass my NCLEX? Of course my ideal job would be in a hospital as soon as I pass my NCLEX (shands preferably), but I know here in Jax I need experience under my belt. So guys should I wait or go ahead and try to get a job as soon as I get the ATT, and if so where shouldI apply for grad nurse positions? Also as a new RN (once I pass the NCLEX) where are some places here in Jax that would take me with no experience? All responses are sooooo appreciated. I feel lost out here, and don't know where to start. I am not too good to work in a nursing home as my first gig or even night shifts or over nights for that matter. Thanks guys, hope to hear from you guys

Most new grads I know work over night...someone has to kick the bucket or quit to find a FEE Day position
I know a few myself lol. I actually prefer to work overnights due to the fact I can maximize what I can make as a new nurse my first year by getting all of the differentials offered to nurses who will do so!
