Got my CPNE Date! 3/1/13 in Utica

Can't believe I'm almost finished. Anyone else testing in Utica on 3/1/13? Need to start hardcore studying.

Hey John, you are testing a month to the day after I do in Utica. I'll try to remember to find this thread and offer up any tips after I pass (positive reinforcement, not cockiness). I've been studying for about a month now and it is crazy (but doable!).

Congrats on the date - passed in Utica in May of this year. Great place, small hospital with wonderful CA and CE's.

Congratulations! Question for both tnmarie and John....I am God Willing planning to test in Utica and I will also be done God Willing with my Fcca final by the end of December... my question is how long did it take you to get a cpne date from when you applied? I am just trying to get an idea.....thank you!

I got my date 24 hours after submitting my application. The average seems to be 24-48 hours.

As for study tips, there are tons of good ones on this forum. Things I absolutely recommend are doing a workshop, printing out the study guide (using dividers to break in down into more managable sections is highly advised), and setting up a sim lab in your home for practice. Break it down into as small ofchunks as possible (labs + PIE is how I'm doing it).
