Congrats! That's awesome. I applied in August for January 2014 so hopefully I will be hearing something soon. I'm so anxious lol. I'm having a hard time deciding if i want to go to south or central tho. What made you choose central? I'm in the middle of reading a book called "How to survive and possibly even love nursing school" which has given me some good tips. Are you doing anything special to prepare yourself for the program?
I'm also registered at Central and would like some of the same info. that RN2beval asked.

Thank you RN2beval!!!!
Congratulations to everybody. I just got my pre-admission letter and have to go to a seminar on Friday morning. I'm excited to see what their going to say to us. I already have all my certifications ready to go. I have heard that after the pre-admission seminar or class we will be able to do our vaccines and drug testing. I am doing micro now and will be done Dec. 10th. Glad to have that one over with. It has been the most difficult class in my opinion.

You're probably like how in the world do you know this already? I was originally accepted for the fall and I had to defer my seat. They just informed me I have a guaranteed spot in Winter 2014' program at central campus! I am so grateful and excited to continue with this chapter in my life!! Nursing has always been a passion for me. I have gotten so much insight always staying in the hospital since my two younger sibling BOTH had type 1 diabetes and were diagnosed. So now i'm here ! I'm accepted . I still have to take BLS. HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence Courses etc.. but besides that what have you done to prepare yourself for nursing school at Broward ? Any advice going in ? It will be so appreciated ! And let me know if you too got accepted !
