Got my acceptance letter!

So very excited, got my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday to Eastern Suffolk Boces. ;)

anyone else out there from same school get a letter?

Congrats!! I am hopeful that there will be an acceptance package in my mail when I get home from work! :)

congrat's to you i got my interview next week any tips and what type of question they ask thanks for your help just very nervous

don't be nervous, you will be fine! the questions are very general. what are your strenghs and weaknesses, why do you want to become a nurse, what if your car fails, how will you get there..if you see someone cheating what would you do..just be honest and sincere with your answers and you will do great!

I got my acceptance letter from Dutchess Boces last week, I was so nervous after taking the teas it was so hard. :heartbeat

don't be nervous, you will be fine! the questions are very general. what are your strenghs and weaknesses, why do you want to become a nurse, what if your car fails, how will you get there..if you see someone cheating what would you do..just be honest and sincere with your answers and you will do great!

Hi, Ya'll,

I applied to both programs at my college, as it is cutthroat competition to get in. It was a far cry to get in the RN program (1000+ applicants!) for me as I don't have the 4.0 that many do. But I got verification of being an alternate (3) for the LPN program! I hope I can get in this fall.

Unfortunately, those that knew I was applying to the RN program think I've "failed" in some way. Even my best friend told me I should look at other options. In my head, I'm screaming, "What?? Did I miss something? Did you not hear me....I'm an alternate! That means I might get to go! Aren't you happy that I'm being considered to be in nursing school??" I think the mentality is if you can't be at the top of the food chain, why bother? I want to be a nurse. And last time I checked, LPN's are nurses! Maybe even more so from the original Florence Nightengale template, due to the amount of patient care.

I'm excited!!!!! Sorry, guys, just had to vent.

And congrats to all of you who got your letters!:yeah:I wait with bated breath!
