Gordon Spring 2021

I’ve been looking for a Spring 2021 Gordon State forum, but I couldn’t find one. I was wondering if anyone on here has applied to the ASN program? ?

Have all of you taken all of the core classes? Im so worried about this science. But I went back and looked in my emails when I asked my advisor what classes I need, she did not say I need to retake that science class. But now that I am looking, its def over 5 years old. Im scared bc I won't have time to take it before the program starts. I doubt they would let me take it during the first semester of the program. AH.  I don't know what to do. I hate this waiting and im so scared. Sorry, im done ranting LOL.

 Had the class already expired when you spoke with your advisor?  I would try not to stress myself out. Just wait to see what happens. If you don’t get accepted, (which I pray that you do) I’m sure they would let you know then if that class was the reason. Try not to fret.

From the website you must have 70 to 85% of your core classes completed. I would reach out to the  advisor to double check. I’m sure you are okay. Plus,You met the requirements to move forward with the next application step. I just hope that we all get it and we find out today.

Hope this helps relieve your stress....I have ENGL1101 remaining which I will CLEP out of and I also still need Micro....I was unable to get into a Micro class after being waitlisted this semester- she is aware of this and she said it was fine. ?‍♀️

What does CLEP out of? Thank you for telling me this. It eases my mind so much! When will you take Micro? Im on the verge of tears with this waiting and I know its all in God's hands so im trying to just relax.

CLEP is an exam that you can take for the college credit instead of having to take the course. People can do a lot of their core classes with CLEP tests....they have been around for a long time but unfortunately are rarely talked about.

I am gonna try to see about getting into Micro this semester....I am gonna contact the advisor and make sure this would be OK. ?‍♀️
