Im having a terrible time waiting for my letter of decision from GC. I pretty much stalk the mail man..and it is not even eight weeks ..I am looking for friends along this waiting process..has anyone heard anything about when the letters will go out?.. 8 weeks like the website says.. or will they take longer possibly until Oct. 30??.. I have heard that some people have already gotten denial letters. Do they send them out first?
Soo ready to just have the letter in my hand so i can stop living in limbo. Anyone having this problem?
I also received my letter today and was accepted. Even though I'm grateful for the offer, I will deny the acceptance and attend the School of Nursing at Clayton State University for the BSN track. I hope my choice allows someone on the waiting list a chance to start the program and their new career. Good luck to you all and congrats to those who were accepted...
CanaasMom, I was told from a few RN's in my family that each school has an appeal process that can get your app re-reviewed if you feel that you should have been accepted. If you think your scores were above average I would go up there and at least talk to them and see what they have to say... maybe find out where you stood or where you may be at as far as any kind of wait list if nothing else. If this is still the route you would like to pursue go talk with them but I understand if you are ready to move on.
That is the same one I am going to try for if I don't get in. 2 years for a BSN sounds pretty good. I am already registered for Macon State's spring semester to take the rest of my core there. All I have left is the MSCC1000 course and I think I will have to take a math unless they accept Quantitative skills.

Well I got my letter today, I did not get in. Hopefully you guys will get your letters tomorrow. It just said that I didnt get accepted and you aren't supposed to call because they won't discuss it with you over the phone, just in person. Im going to transfer to Clayton State and do HCMgmt.
