I dropped off my nursing application as soon as the application process started and I cant wait to find out if I have been accepted.

Who else out there has applied and what is your stats?

MedicalMinded,

I made a 72 the first time... Hope I do better this time!!! Good Luck

Krh8Im sure u will do fine! I wonder wen da crit. Thinkn test will b takn place....

They usually schedule those with in a week or two after the application deadline. They mail a letter stating the time and place for you to take it!

Any of you ladies that have taken the TEAS test, would you mind telling me what the national average is???

Krh78 the average varies an it depends on wen u tookda test. I took mine n decn I believe the average was a 67. Do u knw wat the crit. Tginkn test is lik?

My advisor told me the critical thinking test is 40 questions in 40 minutes on the ATI website. You have to score a 50 minimum.... I've been googling critical thinking practice tests, and it really doesn't seem that bad.... I think the main issue with some is going to be the time. It's not that the questions are difficult, it's that they have to be read carefully and many, including myself, get hung up on the first thing that pop into there head instead of paying attention to detail. IF I get a critical thinking test date, at least I know I passed the first part of the screening process....

So not everybdy is goin to get a crtical thnkn test apptmnt???? R u sure?

Yea...pretty sure. I mean, that only makes since, right? ...With all the people that applied? I'm sure it's not even possible to get everyone in to test them. Some people are going to get a rejection letter off the rip. Potential students will get an invite to take the critical thinking test, and if you score well enough on that, then we get an official acceptance letter if they decide they want us after that. They are trying to cycle off people even more with all these things. I was also told that if you went to different colleges, they are still taking a look at your cumulative GPA of all the courses you've ever taken in a post secondary education before looking at your core. Then again, I know how crazy these rumors get when deadline for applications hit, so we'll see!! Only two more days before they close it up!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!!!! I HOPE WE GET IN!!!! By the way MedicalMinded, how long have you been taking courses at Gordon?

Cassandra ive ben there abou a year an a half. Went n srr 8 4rm highskool. Well wat u said makes since. I hope my teas score an the fact that ima cna getz me thru round one.Im also glad the app process is almst closed!!!

Yes, I'm sure being a CNA already does get you ahead of the crowd a lil more! :) That is excellent!!! Well, today is CLOSING day!!! So that wait is on!! & I know they said give them 8 weeks before we find out if we were accepted or not... but... it's not going to take 8 weeks for the critical thinking test too is it? The 8 weeks is the total time for acceptance/rejection letters after we take the critical thinking test? That sounds about right doesn't it? GOOD LUCK TO US!!! :o

I hope itz not eight weeks after da critical thinkn test. Since da test is dneon da ati website they should have our results immediatly. Thats hw my teas test was. As soon as I finishd my score popped up.

The critical thinking test is administered by ATI; however, it is a paper/pencil test. It usually takes 3-5 business days to get the results. It also depends on how many groups they scheduled for the test. If you are in the first group, you have to wait until all the groups have taken the test. Gordon sends off the test for grading once everyone has taken the it... It is agonizing, get ready for the wait! The 8 weeks starts once everyone has taken the critical thinking test!
