I am sorry it may be taking so long for you. I would suggest calling Good Sam and ask they may be able to give you a time frame for an answer. Good luck.

Just wanted to update in case anyone was curious about the answer (plus I'm excited! :wink2:) ... I got my acceptance letter to Good Sam this week! Yay! So I'm guessing they must review applications as they're recieved. That or I just so happened to send mine in at the right time.

I was accepted to Good Sam as well! Have you heard anything since you turned in your deposit?

Was there a waiting list for those of you at Good Sam? I am applying to Beckfield in Florence, but it looks like I won't be able to make there April class therefor I will be looking at October. I would like to hear more about Good Sam though. It seems to be a little cheaper and it looks like they have a class starting in August.

There is a bit of a waiting list. When I applied this past summer, I thought I was applying for the upcoming semester. When I got my acceptance letter, they said I was accepted for Jan 2010 but depending on when I got my deposit in, it could be for August 2010.

I hadn't heard anything after sending in my fee so I called today and they said that it would still be a while before anything was sent out. They were still working on the Aug '09 admissions which I missed the deadline for. So like chigrl82 I'm hoping to get in for Jan '10. The woman I talked to said they would send out an email (so keep your email addy current with them) announcing when registration would be and what to do next.

I would imagine that if you were just now to send in an application you'd be looking at around Fall 2010 to start, but you could call thier admissions office and get a better idea. Good luck!

hi sjsa82, did you get in for jan 2010. do they have a waiting list after you get accepted to start the nursing courses and how long is it.? i am hoping to get in for fall 2010.

Yes, I did in fact get in for Jan '10. I'm not sure if there is an actual "waiting list" but I'm starting about a year after sending in my application. Hope that helps. Good luck!

I know this is a rather old post, but I was wondering if anyone had any updated info on Good Sam nursing program? Like currently, is there still a waiting list? I already hold a B.S. and wondered if they accepted any from other universities? I just applied this week and will hopefully get to visit in the next few weeks! Any information would really help, thanks :)
