Good Samaritan NICU - San Jose

Has anyone been in the starRN program for the NICU department? How was it?

For those who work at Good Samaritan, how is it for you? Was it a supportive environment? My dream speciality is to be in the NICU but I I've also heard not-so-great things about HCA. 

Please let me know your experiences!!

Nope haven't heard anything yet. They told me sometime next week as well!

I had my in person interview yesterday which was cool; didn't expect to get a tour of the unit. and then this morning I had my panel interview (not sure how I felt about this one haha...) how about you!?

OMG same! my panel interview didn't last the whole hour so I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing. How long was your panel interview?

OH WOW LOLLL that's pretty funny; aw jeez as for my panel, it lasted around like 40 minutes id say? but only bc I had so many questions since I wanted to fill up the time LMAO; tbh though I feel like that might've been my mistake, bc IDK how they felt about some of my questions...I could see their thinking faces!! (I googled hella common questions to ask during a nursing interview, bc I was told to come prepared with many xD)

I also wonder how many people applied, since I was told there are only 5 open positions o_O"

Mine was 30 mins! I asked a few questions but I'm like uhh am I supposed to ask more to fill up the time LOL

They told me they're interviewing 7 and accepting 5

GOSHH haha TELL me about about it; and oh dang I was expecting a lot more applicants. but AHHHHHHH I will be posting an update here the moment I hear something back! lmk if u hear anything too qwq
