I know that nutrition is important for the brain, and what suggestions do you have to eat the morning of the test. Almonds, etc..?? or perhaps the week or two before the test to make sure I am in top shape ? :heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat

It is all about mind body and spirit, but stress can make it harder... before the test i was hardly eatting, but i tried to be healthy eatting enough carb, protein, and less on the fat.
I took my NCLEX yesterday. My test was at 2pm, but I had a BIG BREAKFAST. Rice, egg, lunchean meat. It was a big breakfast more then I normally eat. Then for lunch I ate Rice, chicken, broccoli and carrots with teri sauce. I wanted rice to help with the carbs plus im Asian. I kept my mind relax and went to church before the NCLEX. I hope I do well. Still waiting for the results.
I hope this helps!

I would think that one should eat a light to moderate, well balanced breakfast and skip the stuff that might lead to stomach upset. Don't eat too much and don't eat too little. Also, might want to limit caffeine intake to avoid needing a potty break during the test.

Complex carbs with some protein foods. Avoid too much simple sugars. I got a stomach ache before going in after breakfast. Then when I sat down to take the test I was ok. It was hard to relax during the test but made it through ok. Just closed my eyes and hmmmm.
