Hello Everyone!
Any recommendations for a good NCLEX-RN review book that will help me out with first semester of nursing school?
Thanks!

Definitely try the Saunders Comprehensive Review book. It is amazingly simple, in my honest opinion, and covers pretty much everything very well. I love it and it has helped me with my school exams already. I definitely advise you to get that one. :)

1. saunders comprehensive review for the nclex-rn examination, 3rd ed. (ibsn- 1416031995).
2. mosby's comprehensive review of nursing for the nclex-rn examination, 18th ed. (ibsn- 0323039017).
3. nclex-rn q&a made incredibly easy, 3rd ed. this one is for the 'basic' type of questions, but it's still a good study source (ibsn- 1582554501).
4. i also use sandra smiths review for the nclex-rn, 10th ed. i don't use it as often as the others, but its still a good resource (ibsn- 0130891215).
5. i just ordered lippincott's review for nclex-rn (ibsn- 1582553602). i'll give a review after i receive it!
good luck!

I have a few already, but the two I used most last semester were the Saunders review book already mentioned, and Zerwekh and Claborn's Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN exam. I like to get books of different types - the Saunders is mostly questions, the Z&C book has more explanations of what we were learning as well as some questions, and then I have a Kaplan NCLEX-RN strategies book that teaches test-taking skills. We use all these in an NCLEX strategies course that I'm signed up for this semester, and I just bought them early so I could use them the whole way through.
