I have been looking for some sites that have good MSN programs for a while now and can't decide which one to take. I am a foreign trained nurse and would love to get input from all nurses who took this path to get their MSN degree. I don't drive and I believe that doing the programs online is the good way to go. Any advices?
I just completed my MSN with an Education focus from Walden University. Started in the Fall of 2007-took some time off for various reasons over that time. The program can be completed in 2 years. One course every 8 weeks-through the summer as well.
Be prepared to do a LOT of writing-good thing I love that and they have a Writing Center that offers assistance if needed. Many classmates and instructors were ESL.

Otessa,
Congrats! I am considering Walden also, but I'm a little nervous to do it completely online. Did you find it very difficult and were there available support and resources? Also, did you go straight for your MSN? And if you dont mind how much did it cost in total? Thanks for your help!

The tuition and fees are on their website. 2009-2010-41 credits (BSN to MSN) at $435/credit hour.
My per credit hour cost was less when I started in 2007 and rose little by little over the 2 1/2 years.
