I am about three months away from taking the HESI for the first time, and I'm definitely already nervous about it. I was just curious as to what specific HESI books you recommend. I have numerous NCLEX books, but none specifically for HESI. I just want to ensure that I'm adequately prepared for this.
The NCLEX books are about as good as you can get. A lot of people bomb their first HESI tests and get better as time goes on. I am one of those. I was scoring in the 600-800s at first but got over 1000 on the HESI Exit exam.
Good luck!
Congrats...on your ambition, you are 3 months out and wanting to get prepared. I passed with flying colors first try due to diligent study habits and this study material. You purchase online, and i downloaded and printed...make sure you have lots of paper:) It is the HESI study guide from Mometrix....download and print EVERYTHING. This book has lots of practice tests, that do not just give you the answer , but explain WHY that is the answer. There is also invaluable study tips....for each section .It was about 80.00 ...get busy ! and Good Luck!!
