Good Cause Waiver?

Published

Hey!

so I went to an interview and before it could even begin the administator/HR prints these papers for me and tells me "before I offer you this position I need you to apply for this waiver."

I'm like "ok".

apparently it's a waiver that enables me to interview and obtain jobs without having to explain myself like crazy because of the things on my criminal record. basically it's a BLESSING. God is so good. I've never heard of this. so in an interview when asked I can just say "I have a good cause waiver".

It's a waiver that's obtained from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. AWESOME. I guess if they grant you the waiver then you're good to go and all employers will feel like "ok, if they said she's good then she's good w us".

I have to:

1. submit a character letter from my current boss/or three non relative individuals

2. describe the incident in it's entirety

3. and something else I can't recall right now.

I suggest anyone who has a record apply for this through your state.

This was so amazing because I currently work for a hospital and they never offered me this opportunity. But as a new Nurse I figure it's something good to have. and I'm thankful for the people that brought this to my attention. God is so good. as random as He is w these blessing, I'm so grateful.
